Nature: STEAM Learning Institute

 Wong works with the STEAM Learning Institute using field journaling to help students connect with the environment and expand their creative and analytic skills by record observations of the natural world using text, drawings, and numbers. A veteran educator with a K–8 multisubject teaching credential who speaks five languages, Wong has taught in public and private schools with immersion language programs  both in the classroom and outside the classroom with organizations like the STEAM Learning Institute. Wong received her MA in Education focused on social justice, cultural literacy, and democratic education in urban school pedagogy.
